Happy pet, happy owner, happy life
Hi, I’m Natalie, owner of Tilly’s Tails Pet Care. I am a little (very) animal mad aka the nutter in the park that runs over to you, gives your dog cuddles and has a little chat with them.
I have been lucky even to be continuously surrounded by animals my whole life, my mum said the reason I learnt to walk was due to pulling myself up on our dogs and toddling around with them.
My background is biology and wildlife conservation moulding me into an eco-warrior and nature lover. During and after university, I worked at a kennels with boarding and rescue dogs and cats. I fell IN LOVE with all the animals, particularly the rescue dogs and I even took a sweet and cuddly German Shepard home for Christmas. I knew my life and career had to involve working with animals.
This is Molly, my family (once all black) Labrador. She is the absolute dream, always letting me sit her on my lap, endless hours of teaching her to catch balls and treats on her nose and keeping me company during weeks and weeks of revision.
This is Flea (Bag), my Siberian hamster. She is so full of cheek and personality. I bring her everywhere with me, she used to come to the office and sleep in my pocket, on my shoulder whilst I clean my teeth and to the park – despite the odd looks she loves it. Don't let anyone tell you hamsters are boring pets.
They are also the best of friends.
